Happy 1st Birthday, Parkie!

You are around 28 pounds, wear 18 month clothing and size 5 or 6 diapers. You still don't sleep through the night and wake up for 1 bottle at whatever time of the night you decide suits you. You are a climber. You love to climb onto the back of the couch, up ladders, onto chairs, and whatever else you can find. You crawl and bear walk everywhere and you are FAST, like Flash.

You started taking steps this week and enjoy doing it with the biggest smile on your face. You look around to see who is watching you and is going to clap for you. And as the youngest of 4, you have a lot of cheerleaders!

You have the biggest smile and love to show off your 8 teeth. You are a really happy guy. You adore your Papa and pretty much want nothing to do with the rest of us if he is around. But you do like your Mama, too. You stick tight to your family and don't like to venture off to anyone you don't know. Your biggest sister is smitten over you and loves to carry you around. I'm not sure how she does it because you are quite the heavy chunk. You think you are as big as your brother and sisters and love playing with them.

 love you so much, Parkie. Mommy had a rough year and wasn't always the most fun mama to be around. But we stuck together because that's what families do. Your smiles and hugs around the neck warm my heart everyday. Thanks for loving me and for completing our family. It's a privilege to get to call you son.
