My favorite man turned 30!!!!! Happy Birthday, Jonathan!
I met my husband when he was a teenager and now he's 30. Wow.
This year I wanted to have some follow through with my good intentions, and I wanted to really show him how special and loved he is. Because he is a big deal.
We usually don't do presents for each other for holidays, (because we usually spoil ourselves throughout the year "just because") but this year I spent some money and got him the new AppleTV he had been wanting. But what was worth more than that was the video I gave him to play on it.
I asked 20 of his family, coworkers, church family, and friends to send me a selfie-video wishing Jonathan a Happy Birthday and what he means to them.
I put it all together and surprised him with a video which ended up being 13 minutes long. It was so special to him and he truly loved it. Ya, there were even tears. (So feel free to steal this idea to show your loved one how much they are loved by those around them!)
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who took the time to tell Jonathan Happy Birthday by sending me a video (and for being patient with me when I asked a few times.)
You are loved, babe. I couldn't imagine a better person to be my other half and do this crazy life with. You're my best friend. You are wise, loving, and kind. You sacrifice and you lead. And you make my heart flutter, now and forever.
I am looking forward to spending these next 30 birthdays together, too.
