New Year Mid Year

Yesterday we started our new year of homeschool. So even though it's smack dab in the middle of the year, or according to the public school system, the end of the year - we took 1st Day of School pictures.

We started MFW's 1st grade curriculum. I am so excited for a fresh start, a new routine, and for what all God is going to teach us this year. I'll have more about our homeschooling days at the end of the week, but I wanted to share our 1st day pictures today.

(Yes, my kids {always} pick out their own clothes and no I {never} fix their hair.)

Kai is 6 years 2 months old. She is 48" tall and weighs 46 lbs. She has lost 3 teeth and has 3 more that are loose. She likes rainbows, dancing, doing crafts and riding her bike. Kai is excited to be a first grader now and thinks she is big stuff. This year we will be working on confidence.

Braycee is 4 years 2.5 months old. She is 38" tall and weighs 35 lbs. She is loud, funny, and happy. We will be continuing learning our letters and numbers and have lots of hands on learning. We will also be working on listening and following instructions. Brayce likes to draw maps, put on a music/dance show and she likes to do whatever Sissy does.

Zeke my big boy is 1 year and 2.5 months old. He is 31" tall and weighs 28 lbs. He likes blueberry pancakes, coloring on the walls, and balls. This year we will be working on learning the word no and not screaming at Mommy while the pancake cooks in the toaster. Zeke spends time next to us in his high chair during school and we will have different fine/gross motor and sensory objects for him to learn with.

This is my homeschool crew.
